This was such an enjoyable stay. We loved the hypoallergenic rooms: wood floors throughout and such a cute theme. The staff was very pleasant and helpful in whatever they could do for you. The location is ideal with the Grove/Farmer's market in walking distance right across the street, not to mention the 3rd st corridor and just a taxi cab away from many other sites. We would recommend this hotel to others and stay there again. Thank you!

Unique. Cookies and lemonade waiting for us at check-in. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room styled in farmhouse fashion, simple and effecient. Small walk to Farmer's market and Grove shopping center. Very close to Los Angeles Metropolitan Museum and Tar Pits. The Tart restaurant attached to hotel very popular. Wonderfully convenient for all we wanted to do and see in LA.

This is an independent hotel and very unique, with considerable care and personal attention having gone into its refurbishment. Its location could not be better, the staff are more than helpful and staying here is an experience which is hassle free, easy and pleasant. It's location puts The Farmer's Market for food and The Grove for shopping/entertainment within a minute's walk, and also within a very short walk is a major pharmacy, a supermarket, K MART and ROSS, a Discount Designer outlet. Fairfax Avenue puts all of Hollywood's landmarks a short drive away. Everything here is pretty well flawless.

This hotel really is quite the ticket and is now my favourite place to stay while in Los Angeles. It's not a luxurious hotel - and has no pretensions of being one either. Instead, it is homely, clean and one of the friendliest places I have come across. Everyone from the valets to the reception team, the cleaners to the bar staff in the restaurant, Tart, go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

This is a very quirky place to stay. More like a motel than a hotel but very clean and modern with a small swmming pool and small restaurant on site. The decor is very unusual with farm tools all over the place but it's very well maintained. The location was fantastic - straight across the road from the Farmers' Market which has great food stalls, plus lots of gift shops selling a mixture of typical touristy trash and lovely unusual gifts. The choice if restaurants here is fantastic - you could truly eat your way around the world! Behind the Farmers' Market is The Grove, a brand new shopping centre with some great bargains. There is a bus-stop directly across the road from the hotel with a service that will drop you in the middle of the action on Hollywood Boulevard in abut 15 minutes. There are some seriously sleazy areas of LA that you would definitely not feel comfortable walking around in at night, but the area around the Farmers Daughterfelt very safe.
