Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac Quebec Guest Reviews
The Hotel was just right. Access to everything in Quebec. Service at front counter was excellent , but the valet parking attendant was rude.

This was a very pleasant experience. The Hotel is under renovations and there was construction under our window. A little bit noisy but being from NY it wasn't to bad.

Le Chateau Frontenac is a remarkable hotel, however, our room was overpriced even at the discount price. Also, Orbitz should let its customers know exactly what kind of room you are getting. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and approximately 15 of the 618 guest rooms have the view of a construction elevator. We did not realize this until the following morning after we opened the curtains and saw the elevator outside our window. Hotel - great. Orbitz - not so great.

Overall the hotel was a great place to stay to see old Quebec being an institution with lots of tradition. Standard rooms are a bit worn but spacious and comfortable. Also the lobby area and the lower deck somewhat over-commercialized. The lounge was very cozy though.

We booked a three night package plus an extra night. When we arrived we were upgraded to the next level of accommodation, which was unexpected, but very much appreciated. The hotel is a stunning building, wonderfully situated and perfect for a taste of old world elegance and charm.
