My wife and I like very much the hotel's signature rooms every time we stop in Singapore. However, our last stay was not so satisfactory. The room lacks some essentials (i.e., Bose music box, welcome fruit plate, leaking washbasin). Perhaps the staff needs better training in order to maintain the same standards as before.

A first class hotel but in our allocated room there is a lack of drawer space for those visitors who do not wish to store their clothes in their suitcase during their stay!!

While the Qantas Captain and his crew stay at the Fairmont, the cabin crew are across the way at the Swissotel. A nice place, but not quite as refined as the fairmont Singapore. Here you have good size rooms, great facilities, helpful and friendly staff and a great location across the road from Raffles and right on top of Raffles City shopping plaza. A great place to stay in Singapore. And if it is good enough for a Qantas Captain it is good enough for just about anyone.
