Staff was lovely, even had an associate going around with a cart with exra towels water and candy. Nice pool which we had all to ourselves. Right off the highway so easy access to everything

My mother and I have been traveling to Gainesville every other week since the beginning of May in order to see doctors at Shands as I was in a horrible car accident. We first staid at a different hotel (of course she was the one that booked it) and then I found Fairfield. As I have staid with this chain previously and enjoyed my experience I tried it again. There was no disappointment. The hotel is very easy to find. The rooms are always very clean. On [...]I was only able to book a room with a king size bed at the time. When I arrived, being that I am currently in a neck brace and have my mom taking care of me, I asked if it was possible to change to a room with two double beds and to be on the ground floor. I had no issue with this room change. Everything was very clean in the room. I had loud neighbors and if the door to my room was open i could hear them fighting very clearly but with the door closed - utter peace. Definitely the place to go if you want a good night's sleep.

This was a very pleasant experience, from a friendly check-in to a dip in the pool. Nothing fancy, just a comfortable bed and a nice pool. Room was small for our family of 4, but since all we did was sleep and then swim in the morning, it was no problem. We didn't get to sample breakfast (it's over at 9:30). Definitely recommended for travelers!
