Location
Location-wise the Failte Hotel is hard to beat, being situated close to Killarney railway station and the N22 which goes directly into Cork. Guests enjoying a vacation at the Failte Hotel are highly recommended to book a guided tour of the 'Ring of Kerry' or take part in one of the many guided walks and rambles in the local area.

this hotel is steeped in history it has been in the O'connelly family for over a hundred years they have won numerous awards for hospitality and fine quisine and all of this is still true today from our arrival till our departure service was individually specific to carring our luggage up the 3 stories of tight stairways to specially reserving a table for two unasked in one of the prime dining areas. the pub on the ground serves excellent food fare and live irish music after 9 pm till 11. we were very happy with our stay here and would definetly stay here again

We enjoyed our stay but the problem we had was the stairs there was no lift to the accomadation and stairs where not good for pensioners with walking difficultys, everythink else was perfect
