Stayed in the hotel for an weekend . staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were quite okay in terms of size and appliances provided. I had an oven and microwave along with a refrigerator , heater was was working okay. The bed sheet could have been newer. I would recommend this one if you are not looking for luxury but value for money.

Not exactly the Ritz-Carlton, but very clean and in good shape. (Great downtown location, too.) No idea what an extended stay would be like, but my short stay was quite pleasant.

If you don't know your way around Ottawa this is the perfect spot! You don't need a car, you are within walking distance of the parliament buildings, great restaurants and pubs, and the market were there is everything from food kiosks to fresh vegetables and fruit stands, cool pubs and trendy restaurants and everything else. The rooms are large and comfortable with a separate bedroom , a kitchen and air. Worked for us perfectly. Plus great value. The only drawback is they only give you service once a week and we were only there for 3 days, but when we needed something they brought it up right away, and the hot tub was out of service

I booked the hotel the first-available date [eleven (11) months prior] and received a confirmation from Orbitz which verified that I wanted two (2) beds in the room (for me and the other GUY). HOWEVER, when I got to the hotel I was informed that Orbitz had allegedly sent the "wrong" information to the hotel and we now had one (1) bed and a pull-out-sofa for the two (2) of us! A telephone call to Orbitz and their call to the hotel did not resolve the matter as the hotel stated that they were completely "booked" [even-though MY reservation was made almost one (1) year BEFORE they were sold out at a point when they were NOT sold-out!] The hotels' explanation was that web-sites like Orbitz only get the rooms that are "left-over" and that the "only" way to "guarantee" that I get what I book is to book "directly" with the hotel (at a HIGHER price, of course)! The hotel did not given me a room with two (2) double beds (as-opposed-to the king-sized bed and an UNCOMFORTABLE sofa bed we received) and neither Orbitz nor the hotel made ANY ADJUSTMENT to my bill--adding insult to injury!

I found the room extremely clean and comfortable. Good size, considering I asked for the smallest one available. Staff was "OK". They do not go the extra mile to assist, but they are polite enough. They do not provide "shower caps". And you have to pay for hooking up your computer in the room. No wireless in the rooms are available. That was painful, since my net-book has only wireless capabilities, I had to go to the Lobby to be on-line, So be aware. Overall, I would return there any time!
