"The rooms were very small and very hot even with the air conditioning on (which seemed to have no effect)."

"The location is poor if you are relying on public transport. From the city centre it involves a bus ride and a 10 minute walk (the walkway is poorly lit at night). The Cambridge tourist information office further compounded this difficulty, by being poorly informed on the location of this hotel, and instructed us to take an even less direct bus route, which resulted in a 20 minute walk. Not fun with luggage! I thought it quite expensive for the facilities. For the price I would expect mini-bar and room service available, and individual toiletries in the rooms rather than soap and shampoo dispensers. But perhaps I am being unjust in comparing it to Australian hotel pricing, rather than the rest of England."
