Executive Hotel Le Soleil
4 out of 5

Hotel was in a great location, close to shopping, Pacific center is just 2 or 3 blocks away, also close to Robson, Granville, Art gallery, Gas Town, etc. The location was wonderful, just up the road from the beaches and Stanley park. The Hotel it self was beautiful, very detailed and overal clean, I did find the detail cleaning like counter edges, and ledges on the poor end. Other then that it was spotless. Nothing to do as for amenities, no pool, hot tub, nothing. In room movies were expensive but they always are. They could use to upgrade from Lodgenet, maybe a company that offer HD and doesn't call out on dvd movies "Still In Theater Movies" and charge $16.99, but thats not the hotels fault but changing this might help. The staff were very nice, particularly the valet, the guy that parked was very kind and helpful. However the night time staff could be a little happier. He or they depending if both nights were the same gentleman, wasn't very helpful and some what rude. Feel free to stop reading here, this is more me going on about our trip, which wasn't the happiest of trips, Im sorry in advance for what I write. Our stay it self could have been much better. It was supposed to be our late honeymoon, we haven't been able to afford to do it until now, we don't live to far from Vancouver but couldn't afford to fly anywhere and as we do not have a car it had to be within transit distance which LeSoleil did its job there, waterfront station is just up the street. The day of our star it was pouring out so we almost had to cancel out until someone came to my rescue, not having a big family nor many friends, we are used to doing things on our own. So luck would have it my sister would lend me her 1990 cavaler thats falling apart lol, valet must have loved it! But what can I say, I may be broke but Im allowed to treat myself too. We saved our money for 4 months, as we are on a strict budget and on a low income. We wanted 4 nights but realized real fast that Vancouver isn't cheap when it comes to traveling and things like parking is extra. so since we now we had a car to use we had to park it which was an extra approx. $28 bux per night. it added up to about 100 bux for the stay, which sucked up my extra night, ugh oh well. We booked, we got there and had 3 days to unwind and relax, i have 3 other children from a previous marriage, all teenagers, so i have alot of stress on my shoulders, I couldn't find anyone wlling to watch my son for our weekend away so we brought him along, out goes the "honeymoon" that idea isn't as fun when there is a 4 year old around. anyway luckily most or all rooms have suites because i spent my whole 3 days in the bedroom as my husband and I quit speaking to one and other because one of us forgot to pay the light bill, lol how pathetic. We ordered food but it was extremely expensive, they were kind enough to give us a ten dollar voucher for the copper roof, the indian place that also does the room service, how ever it was for dine in only and neither of us were in the mood to go. Called a place called just eat, ordered indian food, i paid for it and never came, so that was an other bummer. anyway i could go on forever, good thing is after 4 days of silence and the occasional argument during the little time alone we had, we are together and just fine now. Just very sad and disappointed we didn't get to enjoy ourselves. Sorry about the long post, just got a lost in my words. feel free to erase.

This is a gorgeous boutique styled hotel situated close enough to walk to everything. It is a quality hotel that has secure lifts (card swipe to access floors), and it has a real old world charm about it. I would highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again, having stayed at other hotels in Vancouver previously. :}

We found this hotel well situated for our needs. It was a short walk from the wharf where we caught the float plane to Victoria for the Butchart Gardens tour and also close to the ferry terminal to cross the bay or to catch the HOHO buses. There were several restaurants nearby providing plenty of choices for dining. The staff were very accommodating and upgraded our accommodation as it was our wedding anniversary which was very much appreciated. There was shopping nearby. The room was very quiet.

The hotel is very nice and the location ideal, in downtown Vancouver 2 or 3 blocks away from the waterfront, Gastown and much more. The rooms are very spacious with a living room. Best of all is the staff. Everyone was extremely helpful giving us great tips and recommendations that were definitely away from the tourist traps. I would stay there again with no hesitations. This is a great little gem in the heart of Vancouver!

We felt decieved by the ad that indicated guests had full access to theYMCA facilities next door as on arrival we were informed that in order to enjoy a swim or hot tub our family would be charged an additional $44. The doorman also tried to scare us into using the very expensive valet parking instead thje affordable parkade across the street by telling us in front of my 10 year old that our vehicle may very well get broken into that night iif we parked there. Thanks for worrying my 10 year old daughter you jerk

Stayed here for a long weekend with family. It was our first time in Vancouver and the hotel was very centrally located to everything. The room was very small for 4 adults but we made do, especially since we didn't spend much time there. Staff was friendly & helpful except initially upon check-in they attempted to charge for the additional guests, stating the room was booked only for one adult. They were apologetic when shown the reservation indicating 4 adults. Amenities were average but room exceptionally clean.

Nice place, good staff, tasty food at the attached restaurant. I wish hotels would realize that wireless internet isn't optional, and not something we appreciate being charged for.

This is an excellent hotel. It's located really well in downtown whether you're there for business or a vacation (as I was) and with the Skytrain within easy reach as well as loads of bus routes nearby you won't have any trouble getting wherever you need to go. The room was lovely and spacious and the staff are really helpful: I had a very late flight getting in, but there was no trouble in doing a late check-in and they were just friendly and helpful in general. The restaurant in the hotel's very good too - both for breakfast and dinner and again lovely staff. The only thing you could say against Le Soleil is that it's not the cheapest, but that's not the market it's operating in, so not really something to complain about. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a trip to Vancouver and would definitely go back myself.

This hotel offers fantastic suites at very reasonable priced offers. Located downtown and just a few blocks from Robson Street, you're no more than a short walk from a majority of Vancouver's major attractions. While the view isn't anything spectacular; on the 12th floor you can see beautiful trees, tall buildings & the Vancouver Tower. Having stayed at other hotels throughout the city, I am confident when I say that upon our return to Vancouver we'll stay here again.

This is a welcoming , Euopean styled hotel located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Although the room was beautifully decorated and the bed super comfortable, the noisy heating system prevented me from having a good sleep.

We had a very nice room with a bedroom, a bar area and an attractive living room with a hide-a-bed. It worked just perfectly. The hotel is in the heart of downtown so you can walk to many places. The one draw back is that the car must be valet parked but we decided that the next time we came we would use cabs and stay in this hotel again. The cafe is a touch pricey but very nice with the most interesting wall designs and good food.
