Excalibur Hotel Casino

We only had one night on the strip, and I was staying with my two adult children. I chose the hotel for the excellent location and the monorail that allows access to other casinos in the south strip. They cruised around on the strip after dinner and had a blast, and I gambled a little and turned in reasonably early by vegas standards. Staff was friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, check out was easy. The only negative was that they only had one thin blanket on the bed and I wished there was another one because I was a little cold during the night.

It was ok we had an issue with the TV and they took care of it. My only issue with this hotel and Luxor so far they still don't have Wifi!!!??? It is totally a shame and embarrassment to the United states to have hotels that do not maintain Wifi. We can get Wifi in 3rd world countries in the middle of NOWHERE why cant they have Wifi in New Las Vegas???????

Staff was friendly but our room had weird stains on the carpet and smelled like it could use a deep cleaning.

Awesome! Such a great location. It connects to the Luxor easily, as well as New York, New York and the Flamingo. It's really easy access off the Tropicana exit; or only an $11 cab ride from the airport. The rooms are very nice. If you're hungry, best food court on the Strip. I recommend the Excalibur to all my friends.

Thought the resort fee was high, pool was closed and we never got a newspaper. We had to change rooms ( which was dealt with very easy and with no trouble, reception was so understanding) as the people in the next room where making lots of noise, but having fun, but after all thats what Vegas is for, but we had to leave early in the morning.

For the price, good accommodation. The decor a little dated but goes with the theme of the hotel. Rooms clean &are a good size. Location on strip good. Has a food court on higher level which is handy. Big games room downstairs for the kids.

Fantastic hotel.....but it took 5 hours to check in....yes you read right five hours waiting to get a key to our room- we are undecided as to whether it was worth the wait - it was out of the world amazing hotel, fantastic facilities, great location, huge room......but 5 hours to check in and lazy staff on check in counter......how patient are you?

The hotel is ideally located between the Luxor and the New York New York. Decor of the hotel is cheap and dated when compared to the competition. Rooms are clean and comfortable but in need of modernisation. Good quality free wired internet access available (you have to pay $15/night mandatory for this and two complementary drinks which is not advertised).

When I booked this trip I had booked for a room with a king size bed, what I got was a room with 2 queen size beds. This wasn't a problem, the problem was the handicapped accesable bath room. Other problems were the window shade that didn't keep the light out, even at night light was coming in. The noise from the highway since I had a room at the back of the hotel. The casino was very loud and smokey. If I had to do this trip over I would NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL EVER AGAIN.

FIRST OF ALL THE PEOPLE WHEN YOU CHECK OUT THEY STINK. THEY NEED BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE. EXT FOR ONE PERSON. I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. TOO MUCH WALKING UP AND DOWN THE STRIP. I HAVE A CALL IN TO THE HOTEL AND IM WAITING FOR A CALL BACK FROM THEM.

After staying at Ceasars Palace for a week with my company, My family joins us for the last couple of days there. My 5yr wanted to stay at "The castle" so I booked a room for our last day and night in Vegas. It was the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel. To start off, we self parked our vehicle, which the parking lot is so far away in the back with no easy access to the building especially if your carrying multiple bags and luggage. The parking lot itself is "ghetto", easy acces for crackheads and thieves to have their way with your vehicle. There are no guards anywhere in sight. So we finally entered the buidling and searched for the check in counter, we were running a little late to a show we had tickets for and wanted to check in first. We located the check in counters and were heading towards them when all of the sudden a gentleman approached us and asked if we were checking in, we said yes and he said "great let us help with that and your luggage, it's something we do to help families enjoy their stay and we can also get you guys a free stay". So I thought, wow great service so far, Boy was I wrong, it was just a ploy to get us to purchase future days at their hotel. He escorts to a women that proceeds to tells us the costs and this and that, well I was very upset that they deceived us and derailed our check in process, more people had gotten in line for checkin and like I said we were already running late to a show. So after that we finally get to our room, walked in and the room looked a room from one of those very runned downed hotels next to the side of old freeway that rents rooms by the hour, if you know what I mean. we were very dissapointed in the condition of everything, now granted I just stayed at Ceasars Palace, and wasnt expecting much at Excalibur, but really? I was expecting it to be atleast somewhat nice. The view we had from our small window was the rooftop and that's it, again really?? Oh I could see a very, very tiny piece of the strip way off in the distance between two buildings. The rooms AC/Heater unit was one of the old style that sticks out from the wall and looked like it had been in battle and shipped to and from the war in Iraq. It was very noisy and just plain obnoxious so we just left it off all night. So after we drop off our bags we continued to head to our show and we were again harrassed by not one, but two different employees less then 20ft apart to buy rooms for our next visit. By now I was seriously mad at this point and thought the next ******* person that asks me about that I'm gonna knock his *** out,but being with my family I had to control myself. So again we had the treck to our vehicle and hoped no crackeads were waiting to harrass us in the parking lot for change or worse. The next day my daughters wanted to visit the Fun Dungeon downstairs, which was going great, my 15yr old loved the laser game that she had to manuever through the lasers without touching them. after about an hour there, we saw a sign that said something to the arena area and saw three others enter the elevator and go through, we decided to check it out and were waiting for the elevator to come back when we heard someone say in a very upset and serious tone "What do you guys think your doing?" I turn around and see this big security guard standing there demanding an explanation, I said we wanted to visit the arena, He said "You people cannot go there now leave" with a VERY rude tone of voice, I thought in my head, ok what does he mean "you people", is he referring to our race? So I said to him, I saw three other people go in and you didnt say anything to them, he replied "they are employees" which they clearly were not as I could tell by their attire and had a kid with them as well. So again I was very upset and had to controll myself with the situation but felt we were being thrown out because we were not white. He could have spoken to us in polite and professional manner, this wanna be roboc

We booked two rooms and when we called to get connecting rooms, they said it wouldn't be a problem. When we get to the hotel, our rooms were very far apart and we were told when we asked for connecting rooms, it was a request and not a definite thing. The lady was very rude while we were checking in. I couldn't use the free WiFi b/c it was a telephone cord and my iPad doesn't work with a telephone cord. Parking was not an issue at the hotel, they have plenty.
