I have stayed at this hotel 3 or 4 times in New York and really can not fault, free wine hour eah day, WiFi at no additional cost and a nice coffee as you head out on your day. Staff very helpful and even give you a free credit towards the mini bar?? How good is that!

6 nights at Eventi Hotel from Dec 26th to Jan 1st. Good location (near metro, Macy's, not too far from Times Square), but not too crowded

Great location! Walked just about everywhere we went. I highly recommend this hotel for comfort and value. Room was large and comfortable.

Very convenient to Penn Station. Great value given the location, nice size, very clean, personable staff. Room was a bit noisy, primarily a result of the fan that turned on and off all night, but everything else was very nice, including our view of the Empire State Building. I would definitely return the next time we stay in the city !

it was a great unique hotel and perfect for what we were looking for!! The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was great and helpful with whatever we needed. I will probably stay here the next time I come to new York. Great experience!

First night it was old blood on the sheets. The Manager sent a $10 cheap bottle of champagne for the blood stain on the sheets. The sink over fills because of poor design. The bathroom is nice but when you take shower its cold because you only have Half of a shower door. The place looks nice but it wasnt a good experience it was a horrible experience.

My husband and I travel a lot and very few of our experiences in hotels have been as good as the Eventi. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The free wine between 5pm and 6pm were a welcome treat after a full day of walking. The rooms are a good size and clean and the shower was modern and spacious. In the summer there is a beautiful outdoor verandah with fantasic views of the city. I liked the location as it is about half way between Times Square and Soho.

The hotel itself is pretty good, solid set up and nice views even from the lower floors. The location is a bit off, in the no-man's land of manhattan (i.e., that part of midtown with the train station and nothing else). That said, it's also a little cheaper than similar quality hotels.

Loved the hotel, fantastic location for a girls' weekend, room was quiet and very comfortable and modern (could have done with better lighting in the bathroom though) and complementary wine in the lobby for an hour every night topped it off. However - the rate charged by the online travel site I booked it through ended up being signficantly more than the hotel would have charged - approx $75 per night - so book direct with the hotel or at least compare before pre-paying with a travel website. Oh and of course they refused to refund me the difference despite their "price guarantee" - in fact the extremely rude phone operator hung up on me!

They always do a great job and bend over backwards to make us happy. That's why I keep coming back.

we picked this hotel for it's location, and wound up loving it. we spent the extra money for a view room on a higher floor, the empire state building was out our window, along with midtown east. the hotel has 2 terraces on the 5th floor with outdoor furniture and great views, and nice place to spend an afternoon. one thing that was a trifle disappointing was the size of the room- we paid an extra 25 a night for a larger room, but it still felt cramped with the king size bed. the bathroom was a study in glass and marble, but still warm and inviting.

The hotel is average small for the price in New York City. Staff are very helpful. Location is ok, but still far away from most of the attractions than expected. The most annoying part is to have to fetch hot water from the lobby daily during "breakfast time". The staff did send us a coffee maker to boil water but it is those 1cup model. It is kind of inconvenient but better than go to lobby. The neighborhood is bit on the rough side but ok. Overall ok but I wouldn't have rate it high by others.
