Location
ideally located in via Cavour, the old quaint street made of stone facades and historical palaces facing Brunelleschi's Dome and Giotto's Bell Tower, the Europa Hotel Florence is in the historical centre of Florence as well as just a few steps from the Duomo and the Santa Maria Novella Railway Station.

was put in what looked like the staff rooms due to no other room available we were told. woken up at 6am by noisy dustbin men and the ensuite would only just qualify as a broom coboard converted. the photos on the web are not true in rooms 41 to 43 and this experience destroyed our otherwise successful trip round italy

Despite the initial appearance Europa is a fantastic hotel for location, cleanliness and price not forgetting friendliness of Kassim and staff. Would stay at Europa when we return to Florence in preference to the other high starred places

I like the fact that the breakfast was served in a buffet style, rather than rationing each guest a specific number of croissants or yoghurt or even butter. The tourist office was just opposite the hotel, which makes it very convenient for us. The room was clean and quite spacious.
