Kitchen equipment very average. Air conditioning noisy and when asked for fans were advised that these used to be available but had all broken and had not been replaced. Cupboard shelves had not been cleaned in a long time which was discovered when clothes were stacked on them. Unabale to ful

It was indeed an experience to stay in Emu Walk Apartment. The facilities and all are good. Clean and service is tip top. The only thing is that the price is a little high even though it is not the peak period.

Nice Resort, Sorted out the voucher i forgot to bring with me. Staff friendly, and helped with the small things that mattered. Would certainly go again.

There were several things that I was very disappointed about in this apartment:- 1. The curtains in the lounge area had holes in it. 2. The blanket on the bed had holes in it. 3. The single lounge chair (which was red in colour) had greasy, dirty brown coloured arm rests. Overall the apartment was reasonably clean and well laid out but what we had was definitely not 4 star! On check out the Cashier said we owed for the Sounds of Silence Dinner which we had booked and paid for at the Visitors Centre. After showing him the receipt he said we had a zero balance but on Saturday evening we had booked dinner at the Gecko Cafe to our room but it had not been charged to our room by Monday lunch time. As most people would only stay one or two nights the charges should be credited to the room within a short time. I do not think this apartment was good value for the money.

1.Entrance to the room - dirty 2. Balcony - very dirty, couldn't sit outside. 3. Toilet - NO EXHAUST 4. Had to inform twice for a roll-on bed.It is expected that the beds are made ready before the check-in time when the prices are paid well in advance. 5. Kitchen - Milk in the refrigerator was totally frozen, had to use from our personal stuff. 6. Not Recommendable at all. Not worth the money.

Two bedroom apartment offered a good layout separating sleeping from living areas. Though apartment was clean and recently painted and carpeted the overall fit out was not maintained at a standard of a 4 star facility e.g. no bedside lamps, cupboard doors and draws that did not close, insufficient wine glasses etc. Accommodation was pricey but got a good deal through rates to go.

A very good mid price option at Ayers Rock Resort. The nearby eateries supply good standard food at a reasonable range of prices considering the location. Only complaint was the receptionist who directed us to our room via three flights of stairs(with suitcases) , we then found we could have walked round and used just four steps! Otherwise an enjoyable stay

This was by far not a 4 star hotel. The "air conditioning" that was advertised on the website was not really air conditioning and did not properly cool the apartment. The fan on the air conditioner rattled loudly the entire time. They indicated that the thermostat was set to 77 degrees and they would not lower it. There was not an automatic dishwasher which was common in all other self-serviced apartments we stayed at on our trip. The hot water at the kitchen sink was not hot enough to be assured of clean dishes and cutlery. There was also no Internet access in the room. We had to go to a commons area to use the computer. The only good thing about the place was they did have laundry facilities that were working and the pool was comfortable. This was by far the least value for the dollars spent on accommodation. We complained to the management and were not satisfied with their efforts to remedy the problems with the room.

The apartment was very dark and dingy. Some of the furnishings were in need of a makeover to bring them into the 21st Century. The temperature is set at 22 degrees and cannot be lowered making it impossibly hot during the day and uncomfortable at night. There are many steps to negotiate to get to and from the apartments making it difficult for the physically challenged. It is obvious that the company that owns the apartments has the monolopy on accommodation in this area. This is reflected in the standard of the property and the prices charged. Overall not good value for money. The plus side is the close proximity to Uluru.

Nice place. Well located for Ayers Rock. But extremely expensive. 6 star prices for 4 star accom. Nice kitchens. Well equipped kitchens for up to four. Be prepared to cook your own food, much cheaper than eating at the local restaurant or take away shops

Overall I am quite happy with the apartment. One thing to note is that since the aboriginal people want to keep Ayers Rock "Dry", alcohol can only be bought and consumed in the bar (not in the supermarket) so it may be wise to buy a bottle of wine or two before going to Ayers Rock.

February 2007. We had a fantastic time at Emu Walk Apartments Ayers Rock Resort. We found the service to be extremely efficient whilst maintaining professionalism and friendliness. Perfectly positioned. We have already recommended it to others.

Pleasant apartment, well equipped (except for lack of clothes washing facilities). Possibly the best alternative at Ayers Rock resort. I was particularly impressed with the staff who organised the prompt return of some garments that I had left behind. The prices, as for the whole resort, are somewhat daunting.

a very noticeable lack of convenient customer parking. Too far to carry luggage. very nice set up but far too expensive for what byou got. watch your credit card charges - tried to charge for goods not used - after departure. No reception at the apartments - 100m away.
