Embassy Inn Washington DC Guest Reviews
I chose the hotel because it was close to where I needed to go for an interview. I was staying basically overnight. The room was ok.. the shower curtain had some mold on it. The bed was firm, which I like but most other people don't. The staff were nice enough. FYI - the breakfast starts at 7am, so if you need to head out of the hotel before that you're out of luck. The place was quiet though and adequate enough for an overnight stay.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. Beds were comfy. We took our bikes down and the location was perfect for that. It is too far to walk in the heat of summer. Only wish the hotel had parking and wish the room had a refrigerator. The parking in DC is horrible and it cost us $64 to park our car for two days in a garage and we parked and left it. We didn't go in and out at all. The hotel has a very small ice machine and was not enough to keep our cooler cold.

I'm sad to say that we had a bad experience with the hotel. Apparently other rooms were better, but the A/C wasn't working in ours and it leaked so the room smell of humidity and was really hot. We tried to change rooms but they were full. The front desk staff was rude and wouldn't deal with me directly so I had to do the arrangements by phone to [...]. After spending 2 hours on the phone, I didn't solve the issues. They eventually changed the A/C unit, but I didn't get compensation for a terrible night, not even an apology. Just an attitude.
