ageing hotel with tiny rooms. impossible to dry yourself in the bathroom without doing yourself an injury, and you will bang your head at least once a day....especially in room 49. However if you are on a budget and looking for a good location for the tube, then this could be the one for you. Other positives are that the Staff are very pleasant and always offering to help you, and there is an excellent pub literally 10 yards away.

The rooms are small it must be said. But, they have all you need apart from space. The beds are good, bathrooms are good, the staff are very helpful and the place has a professional quality. Breakfasts have all you need and are thoughtfully balanced. This is a small hotel whose staff take a pride in their product and they must be lauded for it. for too long London provided the poorest standard hotels of any European capital at very high prices. It's good to see someone trying harder and with some good taste. The Elysee is not luxury but it is a proper modern hotel run by thoughtful people and in a good area.

Very easy to find, and great reception staff. Okay so the rooms are a little on the tiny side, but ours was so clean and the bathroom was spotless. For an overnight stay it was perfect and we would definitely stay there again.

Need to get rid of mould in shower. Need to set heating to come on in the morning in winter! Could have been slightly cheaper for the room (not enough to swing a cat in)
