Located halfway between Cairns and Port Douglas, the Ellis Beach Bungalows is a short, 25 minute drive from the Cairns International Airport. Just minutes away, Palm Cove offers an eclectic selection of beachfront day spas, shopping and dining options. It is a ten minute drive from the Clifton Beach shopping centre.

Absolutely idyllic beach location. Over the last week of May (end of low season) we had a quiet, very private relaxing stay. Gwyn (co owner with Paul) in reception, very friendly and helpful. Self catering facilities in the bungalow were exceptionally well provided for.

The advertisement should have advised that own transport was recommeneded there were no shops and only one very minimal eating place.

Ellis Beach is like being in Dreamland. All facilities were excellent and we were made to feel very welcome nothing too much trouble all in fantastic settings.

Fantastic location for a relaxing break. What a fabulous way to wake up in the morning with the sound of the waves breaking at your doorstep. You could almost be on your own tropical island.

What can you say about these beach front bungalows - excellent, especially if you want to get away from it all for a bit. Very peaceful and quiet and the beach really is a stone's throw away from your verandah.
