It's a great hotel if you're looking for something relatively central but is by no means flash or in the centre of the action. It is very clean, but hasn't been refurbed since the carpet of the 1960s was laid. There's no Mini Bar or ice machine, which was frustrating. The real annoyance was the cleaners that just barged in each morning without bothering to knock. Having said that, they returned later in the day and made up the room. If you're on a budget and looking for a hotel thats comfortable but with no frills, it works.

The shower was difficult to use. The bathroom should have toilet brushes. I would have liked to have used coffee cups instead of small tea cups.

THe location to hospital was excellent, the restuarant was a good meal and staff were excellent, thanks for the good service

A little old in decore but large room & comfortable bed.Well located for our purpose i.e. Showgrounds & easy walk down Elizabeth Street to the city.I would stay here again.

I loved the hotel - the service, the location, the price, everything. I had to book an extra night and they were able to keep me in the same room which was great. I loved being able to just walk one block to get a tram anywhere I needed to go. All in all, I stayed there four nights, and I would stay there again.
