It's quite far to walk from the hotel to the nearest train station when you have children traveling together, especially during cold and windy night in November. However, the taxi fare from Rostock main train station to the hotel cost <12 Euro. Overall, the hotel is very clean and well maintained with good price.

Clean, but very simple hotel, in not very nice surroundings. Very nice breakfast, a lot to choose from. Far from the city center, but if you have a car it doesn't matter. 400 m to the S-bahn.

The building is a converted school from the East German days and it shows - all a bit basic - but the food is good
