I recently stayed at this hotel for my honeymoon. The hotel is beautiful. I love the downstair decor and vibe. That vibe and beauty comes with a price. I was unaware of a 20.02 resort fee daily. I was provided my bill at checkout. i asked why and the staff explained that it was for towels, cleaning, tennis, fitness center, etc. I explained that I did not know that you had a fitness center or tennis court. I explained none of the amenities were explained at check in. Also, my husband attempted to place a drink in the refridgator and realize that it is a $10.00 plus 18% for personal use of the refriedgator. WTH. Good food for room services however the fees are out of this world. Room services charge a $3.00 per person delievery fee whether the meal is for one person or ten and it is based on the # of people you have at checkin. On top of the delievery charge a 20% tip is automatic. Last but least, we decided after sometime on the jet ski that we would buy a drink. After ordering a virgin pina cola and a mojito...total 25.00. I though we were getting ready to drink GOLD. All in all, this is place is beautiful but very expensive.

Hotel grounds are nice. Pool and beach are top notch. Standard city view room, was simply that, standard. Very plain, but then again you're not here for the room. **Make sure they do not put you in an adjoining room. The doors do not have locks, which I found to be very weird. Additionally, they are paper thin and if you are stuck next to a noisy party (like us) your stay will be ruined (like us).

The lobby of this hotel is absolutely gorgeous! And the nightlife is great. The front desk staff was not that friendly and they could have been more helpful. The room was decorated nicely but showed signs of being old. The hotel is walking distance to some great restaurants and just a 30-minute bus ride to Old San Juan. Overall, I would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, great amenities, great staff... The hotel gave us an upgrade to an ocean view room and it was a jr. suite. The only thing that we didn't like is that we had to wait about 40 minutes to enter to Brava (their disco).
