Location
Set in a cove that is fringed by a thick primary forest, this excellent property is in Palawan on the beautiful island providing a wealth of opportunities to experience wildlife observation and sightings. This property is also a place surrounded by sprawling grounds that cover more than 4 hectares.

Offering sweeping views of the beach and cove all the 51 well-appointed accommodation units are beautifully furnished with modern amenities to ensure you a pleasant stay. There are also water cottages built on stilts on both sides of its cove.

El Nido Lagen resort, and all the El Nido archipielago, is THE PARADISE, a piece of heaven in the earth.

we had a water cottage and it was beautiful and large and modern compared to miniloc. the dining area is overlooks the pool and view of bay. since there was no tv in our room, we took advantage of their game room. they had one night with several native dances as entertainment which was very nicely done. surroundings are well designed with lots of trees and birds. it's more upscale than miniloc and it's a great place if you just want to relax. staff was helpful and our room rate from ratestogo.com was excellent. arrangements for flights from manila to elnido was communicated to us by email and had no problems at check-in.

Lagen was lovely. The rooms are big, airy and quite comfortable. We booked a beach cottage, looking straight out to the sea. What a view! So very pretty. Sitting on the large verandah was nice in the evening, sipping our wine and talking. So relaxing! Snorkelling was great, just off the pier. There is a nice long walk around the place that links the water cottages to the beach cottages. Walk we did, but decided not to jog it. After all, we were on vacation. The staff is always smiling and welcoming. They were quite helpful especially the water activities staff. We shall definitely go back to this place and I do recommend it to others.

Would definitely recommend this resort. We stayed in one of the water cottages and loved it. I took a PADI course when there and would recommend. Diving instructors are very solicitous and good fun.
