Slightly dated but very clean hotel with friendly staff. Great pool. Reasonable location, within 15 minutes walk to the medina or the new town.

The rooms where clean but in some way the smell of food from kitchen come in through Air condition. Not pleasant. The responsible for the Hotel knew about it all the time and I think they should not give these rooms to guests. Other think, the necessary accessories in toilet as soap, shampoo were not replaced in the next day even if they were empty.

It looks better on the outside. The hotel needs to be updated, new towels would be also nice. It was not especially clean, the floor is covered with carpets which did not seem to have been cleaned in a long time. Breakfast was just ok, nothing fancy, and many birds were coming to the tables to eat the leftovers. There were always many staff members during breakfast, but not very efficient in cleaning tables I should say.

We had a lovely time at El Andalous. The reception staff were very helpful and organised a day trip for us. Good facilities however no internet access or computers while we were there. It was very nice to be out of the manicness of the medina for a couple of days.

the attitude of the concierge and the service in the restaurants was appalling. it was as though we were an inconvenience. we stayed with them for six days and so you would have thought they would be pleased to have some one choose their hotel for an extended visit. the breakfast buffet was a joke. the food was cold without exception for six days in a row. never did we receive a warm welcome or smile or any indication that they were happy we were staying at El Andalous Hotel. I suggest that a slight change in attitude would give a huge change in the tips they would have received.

Me and my wife stayed for two weeks in a two room suite. Nice and very polite staff, most of them spoke some english. Buffet dinners was served every night - 200+ dirhams - a bad deal unless you stay with 'full board'. Don't believe the images from the hotel internet pages. The general impression was that the interior and exterior pool area needs an upgrade. However, we enjoyed the garden and the pool area. Every room has a small balcony, but pidgeon-droppings was a turn-off. The air conditioning can be reversed for heating at cold nights. All in all - We enjoyed our stay and would do it again.

Worn 4 star, more like 3.5 star with good facilities and location. Breakfast poor stodgy scrambled eggs, rest average. shame dont provide cooked eggs as part of BB, have to pay extra £1.50. Overall good value for money, relaxing place, good entertainment, popular with locals at weekend and very helpful staff,. 5 min by taxi to Jemma Sqaure, 5 min to main town area, cheap taxi ride (£1 - £1.50 or 15-20 Dirhams) to all these areas. Bedrooms clean, movies in all languages at night. No fridge in rooms! food overall average. would stay here again on room only basis.

A very good hotel to stay. But ask for the rooms facing the swimming pool area. The breakfast was value for money eat and drink as much as you want. The waiters provided a good service, If you can speak french then even better. Very few people could speak English.

I can't fault the hotel on anything really, it's a four star hotel so you pay the extra. I found the staff helpful even though we only had limited french there were those who spoke english and communication was not a problem. When booking the hotel you may want to ask for a room facing the pool. We were facing the front and when having a glass or two of wine I was sure there was the odd faint whiff of horses urine waffting up from the horses parked across the road ready to take you on a jaunt around the city. The only other thing is that the extracter fans wre not working in our toilet or shower, we only stayed for four nights so we weren't to botherd but if it were a longer stay it would have been a problem. So just ring ahead and make sure everything is in working order.

This is a big 4-star set in a suburb with many similar hotels but which is only a short taxi ride or 20 minutes-odd walk from the Djemma el Fna and the Medina. All the facilities were fine, though I did not eat there other than breakfast so can't comment on other meals' quality. Only problem was the ear-splitting music in the bar which made it impossible to have a drink and talk to someone at the same time, but you can always sit outside by the pool.

Very spacious comfortable rooms. 5 English women (in fifties) stayed in September 06. Good location, away from the mayhem of the Medina but could walk there in about 15 mins. Helpful staff, good buffet breakfast, attractive gardens and pool. Only criticism was that there appeared to be few local restaurants. Used the hotel's basement restaurant one evening which although very dim served good reasonably priced food.

The hotel was very clean, staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool area was peaceful and excellent place to relax with drinks and food closeby. Meal times, in particular breakfast was plentiful and full of variety. The hotel is in an excellent location to walk to the modern parts of Marrakech, i.e. Guelitz. You soon get to know where you are and all is safe. The Marrakech tour bus stop is just on the corner and therefore allows you to see the whole of Marrakech, jumping on and off. Hotel was a great offer at the time and well worth it.
