I was amazed by the check in procedure and the allocation of a specific Butler for all my needs. Staff are so helpful. Your bed will be decorated with different animals made of towels and sprayed with flowers and chocolate. never seen before in any facility.

Had quite a pleasant stay here. The housekeeping was excellent. The service seemed to deteriorate as we went along. We were harassed quite a bit on the beach which prevented us going for walks along it, which was a shame.(we are well travelled and used to being hasselled so are not faint hearted) The staff are friendly and want to please. The Spa experience was somewhat spoilt by the hammering of workmen replacing the roof which made a bit of a mockery of their ethos.I wonder if they read their questionaires? I doubt they read mine as they have not been in touch with me to discuss a couple of issues as I requested! on a positive note I saw at least 3 weddings take place and they were really well organised. I would return to this hotel in the future.

A lovely 5-star hotel in Beruwela, mid way down the string of top end hotels on the western coast in Sri Lanka. All the staff very very friendly and helpful, treating the customers as friends. Room was a good size, minibar not too expensive. 4 restaurants on site, from a very good 24 hour cafe type restaurant at poolside to the almost Michelin class Temptations restaurant. You can even have a private dinner for two in the penthouse, with your own waiter! Pool was a good size, free beach towels, etc. Good spa, offering complimentary massages for new guests. Only very slight let down was that the rooms took a long time to be cleaned, sometimes not until late afternoon, and minibar was not filled regularly, but these are very minor complaints. Overall an excellent hotel for both couples and families, with great staff, at a good price. I would definitely recommend it, and would stay there again.
