I called room service for a lighter blanket. Half hour after, no delivery. I called again. Said it would be in a few minutes. 20 minutes after, I called again. Said he was on his way. To make it short, I called 5 times and waited for nearly 2 hours before I got the blanket.

The location was good. But the hotel was so old. And room was not clean. Especially the quilt was very old and not comfortable. I asked room services to change a new quilt. They said they can not change.

Hotel team members were very rude, We stood in line waiting to get checked in for 15 minutes. The room we booked was not ready, and looked nothing like the pictures from the website. Over all, nice location, bad attitudes from workers.

Check in was fine until they declined my CC and really didn't want to hang around while I called the CC company. I called anyway, only to find out that Visa had no problem and said the issue was most likely with the hotel's system. When Visa offered me an authorisation code to give to the hotel, they declined to receive it... Very odd but they accepted the card in the end anyway. The hotel key worked first time! Room was well appointed but the digital clock was not set to the right time nor could my husband or | figure out how to set it. There were some stray hairs on the bath room floor... Bed and pillows were lovely though. Breakfast was neither here nor there. Overal, average hotel and stay.

Overall a positive experience and good value. While the lobby and restaurants were quite nice, the guest rooms and hallways were a little tired.

The hotel was nicely appointed and right in the middle of downtown so it was a great spot to depart from on walking adventures. Free Wi-Fi (which is always a plus) and the friendly staff made for a nice business trip. My room had a balcony and it was nice to step out and enjoy the hustle and bustle of downtown from a safe distance. Only one comment to the negative; the room arrangement felt a little cramped with the TV too close to the foot of the bed but the writing/computer desk and arm chair made it alright. Would stay again.

Well located and the hotel was not expensive. Not a luxury hotel, but for the price, everything was acceptable. I'd stay there again if I was on the same budget.

Very nice place, location, and amenities, but: (1) charges for in-room Internet are ridiculous at these prices; (2) TV remote had the channel numbers almost all rubbed off; (3) They're wasting water as the shower/bath diverter was leaking.

Location is absolutely fantastic! I could have done having wi-fi in the room instead of having to come down to the lobby with my ipad to do work.

Check-in time was later than Orbitz had noted. It is at 3 p.m. not 1 p.m. the clerk did offer, without asking, if I would like a free upgrade to a deluxe room. It was really equivalent to a standard room in many hotels in the U.S Restaurants are not family friendly and are very expensive. It is better to eat out! Very young children and some mothers who had had too many `refreshments`ran the hall at 3 to 4 A.M. !

Room, corridors, and facility are tired. I can understand the construction noise across the street but it isn't ok when you have to open the window because there is no AC. The staff was nice but I could have done without the half eaten Nacho chip on the hall carpet for 1.5 days.

Check in and check out were fast. Stayed there for Nuit Blanche 2011 and the location was really good, it's in downtown, close to everywhere. We got the upper floor room with an ugly construction view from the window. Bed was really comfy, room is small, the lock in the washroom didn't work. Pretty good value, though and would stay there again! :)

Pleased overall - no surprises with the Delta Chelsea. The location is perfect for a family vacation in Toronto. The room was a reasonable size, but not roomy for 4, and well maintained. The family pool was smaller than expected, a bit crowded (no surprise), and very heavy on the chlorine. Our kids used it one night and didn't have a strong desire to use it again, but they did enjoy the gameroom. The cafeteria style restaurant (Market?) was good and convenient for a quick light breakfast (or other meal if you're so inclined). The staff were helpful and friendly when needed, but did seem a bit jaded. We had no complaints, but it also didn't feel special.
