Eastgate Tower Hotel New York Guest Reviews
This is in a great location, central to so many things. It's a quaint neighborhood, safe to walk around at night. The price is reasonable for Manhattan. The hotel itself is dated, the rooms although clean look a little worse for wear with holes in the rugs and old furniture. There was no comforter on the bed, only two plain sheets enveloping a fleece blanket. The room was HOT, despite turning the heat completey off and opening the windows we were quickly dehydrated after two nights.

This hotel (former apartments} is a terrific bargain. Large studio room with two queen beds and sleeper sofa and kitchen. Great mid-town location. Wonderful and attentive staff. Would book there again.

for the price of $211, not worth it! i would have rather paid an extra $150 or so for a hilton.

Location of hotel very convinient to Grand Central Station, places to eat and shop. Hotel staff very friendly, room does not look like picture but is clean.

For the price we paid and location (very close to Grand Central Station), it's not bad but The Websitephotos were deceiving. When our car service dropped us off, the buidling and lobby looks shabby, so we said "this is not good". then when we got to the room, it was worst, it's not even close to the website photos. The whole room needs major remodeling. New carpet, bed room furnitures including technology (plasma tv, Clock RAdio/CD player, DVD player, lights fixtures, etc.). The Bathroom is very old and no shade/blind/curtain on the bathroom window and we feel violated. Had to use a hand towel to partially cover it. Although, our friends said we are staying in a nice hotel. Maybe we are just to critical.
