East Houston Hotel New York Guest Reviews
Very good front desk service. Room was very clean, although small. The bathroom was very clean and modern. The only negative aspect was that the room could have better lighting. There is a wonderful deck on the 7th floor. Good views and relaxing in warm sunny weather. I wish the "smokers" would not smoke on this "clean air" deck. Near to good food, art galleries and Lower East Side life! I stayed for three nights and the small room size did get to me. There was no dresser for clothing.

Cheap, decent hotel between East Village and Lower East. Very helpful staff, but don't get fooled of the fancy web-site and reception area. The rooms are clean but average and nothing special at all. Breakfast is poor with self service in the basement (paper cups and plastic utilities). Great view from the roof terrace!
