Train rails are located right behind and the windows are quite thin, so it's hard to get any sleep. Reception closes early and opens late, so if you're planing to check out early in the morning the close-to-a-tube-station advantage is entirely lost, since you have to walk 7 min in the opposite way to another hotel to get your £5 deposit for the keys. Quite cheap though.

This hotel is a good idea if you aren't planning on spending much time in your hotel but need somewhere to store your belongings when visiting London. I wouldn't recommend it for longer than a weekend. It isn't very clean and is very minimal. The room we had in particular was to the back of the building directly above the tube lines - which meant that every 3 minutes you would here the tube go past, with the window open it was VERY loud and even with the window closed it was bordering on unbearable as the windows are single pane and very old. We were visiting London for 3 nights for a festival and were so tired after spending all day at the festival that it didn't interfere with our sleep much on night 2 and by night 3 it didn't bother us at all - we even slept with the window open. The rooms were very hot with no fan/air con which mean you need to choose between heat/noise. To sum up this hotel is relatively cheap and was perfect for what we wanted it for. The only downside was the noise from the tube and the lack of cleanliness in the shared bathroom - It wasn't cleaned properly the whole time we were there - by the end of the weekend the shower drain was blocked and the mould/lime-scale was pretty bad from the start. This hotel is perfect if you are looking for something cheap and your expectations are low.

After reading other reviews our only thoughts were 'we're gonna die clown' on the way to this hotel, however when we got there there were absolutely no problems at all. Yes there was a mouse trap under the bed, but there were no rats or mice to be seen, and everything we needed worked perfectly. If you're looking for a high quality hotel, then go and pay for one, but if you're looking for a cheap place to stay that's out of the way but in a good location, where no-one is going to bother you then it's perfect. Would definitely come again

Be careful. Rooms on the side of the road are fine but on the other side, you have very noisy trains and very thin non-isolated windows!

The bed was o.k, the shared facilities were terrible and they didn't accept credit card. Brilliant location!

Normaly all the hotels in London are super expensive and not worth the value but nothing compairs to this hotel. if you are thinking on stay here .. really think about it and spend a little more and get a least a clean room. The hotel is in a good area and once you go there you wished you stayed in one of the many other hotels in the area. The room was discusting dirty with flirt on the walls and the carpet looks like it has never even seen a vacuum. The bed did have clean sheets and the mattress feels like the springs are attacking you by night if you could even sleep due to the horrible smell of mood which is a combination of feet odor and bad milk. All in all get another hotel for 5 pounds more go some where else.

A reasonable hotel in a very good location/area. Service was good and the stay was comfotable and desireable despite the tube train beneath the hote. All in all,not a bad choice of accomadation.

Although the room was warm and bed was neat and tidy, the wall was rather grubby and appeared to have mould growing on it. There were also several bags (not of guests) in the hallway as I walked through the door. That said, the price was excellent and it was very near to Earl's Court tube station. A good choice if you don't plan on spending too much time in your room or too many nights at the hotel.

That was the worst hotel I ever stayed in. The room was dirty, there were cigarette burns on the wallpaper, holes in the bed sheets, the springs of the mattress were coming through, the room was next to a very busy train line and therefore incredibly loud. The TV in the room was not working. The whole hotel was just shappy, really terrible.

This hotel is a reasonably priced hotel and is good for budget travellers. It is also located very close to Earls Court underground which is on the Picadilly line.
