Dynasty Hotel Xi'an Guest Reviews
This hotel is in a great location just outside the old city walls, the rooms where clean and staff friendly. However as a westerner i got through it due to my mandarin speaking friend, otherwise there are no tours provided at this hotel, at present, in english (unless you want to pay an extra 400RMB). So if you can speak mandarin, this is a nice hotel :)

The hotel is not as close to the sity sites as you may think. You would need a taxi or expect 30-40 minutes walking on a pretty dull streets

The staff were considerate in allowing me early access to my room. The buffet breakfast was cold, but plentiful. Getting to the hotel from the train station required some firm bargaining, as the local cabbies are quite ready to charge double or triple the official metered rate. The bellboy was helpful in getting me booked on a day-long tour of major sights.

Good standard Hotel with many facilities. The restaurant/drinks were expensive. Good location near the river. Standard of room was good.

Great value for the money. Excellent location near the center of city. Good facilities and restaurant. Easy to get around from the hotel. When we stayed there the heat was not turned on and it was a bit chilly.
