We had a lovely stay - the breakfast is very good and the people very friendly. The rooms are comfortable and the lounge spacious. The only problem is the very small geyser we had - we normally ran out of hot water, but that was resolved! We took turns to shower first, wait a while and the next one takes a shower! Problem solved. Overall, we had a terrific time. Please remember to mention the outstanding view and the feeling of sitting on a ferry having your breakfast! Excellent!

Good hotel with good service. The kitchenette has all you want to cook. We had a room with a small sea view, unfortunately there weren't free rooms with sea view. There is regular hotel minibus that goes to Funchal center and back. Anyway regular city buses cost 1,5 EUR only and go more frequently. Right across the road is big shop center with supermarket.

My stay at Duas Torres was awesome. The staff was great and always helpful. The room was quite comfortable with kitchenette, couch and chairs, a real balcony, and a wonderful view of the ocean and the cliffs. The restaurant was excellent. I appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to downtown Funchal. I would have no hesitation about recommending this hotel to anyone.

staff is very friendly; the room is clean; a bit far from the city center, but opposite to the shopping mall Forum with a big supermarket; sometimes there's a parking problem
