a very small number. For the mouse. bathroom no more than 1.5 square meters. Walked beside road repair, not comfortable with the suitcases.

A very central location for sites, shops and restaurants. However, it is very noisy and the breakfast is poor. Better not to be included and so allow you to get a coffee and croissant at the numerous cafes.

The hotel had overbooked & sent us to another hotel without even as much as an apology. Would not recommend.

Sound isolation was poor. Street cleaning car noise was high even at 4th floor at night. No air condition but no problems in March 2010. There were no cheese or meat at breakfast, but this is two star hotel so it is OK.

the staff here should be commended. they are really helpful and friendly. facilities are adequate, but for the location and price this hotel is a bargain.

Great location, small rooms, helpful staff, Internet facility not good - is a sub-lease kiosk approach & doesn't work, despite attempts to help by staff.

Best possible location in Lisbon, at the center of the Baixa pedestrian region, close to the Rossio ralilway station, trams and busses to all tourist attraction (Belem, Sintra, 28 tram, etc.). Rooms are small, but clean, breakfast ellementary, but the pricing and location can not be beaten. Very, very ,very much recommended !

Excellent central location - very easy access to trains, trams, metro and buses and a straightforward bus ride from the airport. Friendly staff who could speak good English. Breakfast is simple but plentiful. Great value for money. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfectly situated in Lisbon centre between Alfama and Barrio with nice restaurants and little traffic. Lousy breakfast.

The hotel is one step above a hostel, but it's clean enough and it located EXACTLY where you want to stay as a tourist in Lisbon. It is in the center of the large pedestrian-only area, in easy walking distance of a number of major tourist spots, and less than a minute from Lisbon's great subway system. Breakfast is passable, but not great. It's cereal (with warm milk) and pretty good buns with jam. No toaster. No internet. The phone is expensive to use, and they charge for the safe key. We stayed in a shared facilities room. There was one toilet, as well as one shower in a separate room. They were clean, and we never had trouble with other people using them at the same time.

The two most attractive features of this hotel are location and price. It is situated in the middle of all of Lisbon's hotspots. It is right in the middle of the shopping district in Baixa/Chiado; one block from tourist information kiosk, two blocks away from the metro, four blocks from either Rossio or Praca Commercio, and a few blocks from another hotspot/nightlife central of Lisbon called Barrio Alto. I got a room on the fourth floor with a small balcony that had a breathtaking view of the St. George's castle. The hotel was reasonably clean. Overall, it was a great deal for the price paid. Tip: Make sure you book well ahead (at least a month or more before your stay), especially during the peak summer season.

Can't complain at all about this hotel. We stayed in two different rooms because we came back to stay there a second time - the upstairs room had a little balcony and a great view. We shared a bathroom and the bathrooms were always clean. We missed breakfast cause we kept sleeping in too late, so can't rate that. Overall I'd definitely go back.

My wife and I (64yrs old) arrived early and were nevertheless welcomed in reception by an English speaking young man.A very nice little room overlooking pedestrian streets. I would recommend this centrally located hotel as cheap and cheerful clean and easy going.

Excellent location and very good value for money. If you want a 5 star hotel its not for you. The continental breakfast is just cereal and rolls with coffee or tea etc but overall for a cheap holiday it cant be beat. I stayed en-suite but the communal bathrooms were numerous and very clean.
