Location
Dreams Tulum Resort is perfectly nestled between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. It is 75-minute drive south of Cancun International Airport.

Portofino Restaurant in Dreams Tulum serves Mediterranean and Italian specialties. Pan-Asian and Hibachi cravings are satisfied at the Himitsu Restaurant. World Cafe Main takes care of Continental and Mexican favourites, while Bordeaux Restaurant delivers exquisite French cuisine.

Dreams Tulum is a very nice resort located a few miles away from the stunning Tulum archeological site. The facility is modern and very well organized. The personnel is very nice and work really hard around the clock. The restaurants offer several options in terms of food and drinks. The beach of the resort is clean and sandy, the only downside is represented by the rocks in the water. We really enjoyed our stay, our miles long walks on the beach, and the convenient proximity to the archeological sites of Tulum, Coba and Chichen Itza. The resort and the area resulted safe.

We have just returned from out 4th visit to Dreams Tulum, so we must like it there. It is a great location, with a long beach to the south of the resort. We like to stay in the older part of the hotel, but the downside is the plumbing - we had a blocked toilet three times and had to have the two sinks and bath attended to over 5 days. Other people complain of this, so it must be endemic to the older part of the hotel.

The staff was amazing and extremly helpful and the beach was the best I've seen in the area. The only draw back were the rooms were extremely out dated with old furniture, chiped and peeling paint, crumbling plaster and sworms of mosquitos in the room.

Resort was beautiful! Only half full 'cause of time of year, so not all restaurants were open. However the ones we ate at were great. Premium liquor was available & room was stocked with Corona’s every day. 24 hr room service was used daily; anything you wanted was brought to your room asap. Pool area was very nice, with lots of room. Pool was only steps to the beach. Beach was very nice, lots of chairs and shade if needed. Staff was outstanding! If you ask for anything they went out of their way to accommodate. I went to this resort for a wedding and loved it. The wedding was right on the beach, and dinner followed also on the beach. I have never stayed at a Dreams before, but after this trip would defiantly go back to a Dreams.
