Doubletree Hotel Washington DC Guest Reviews
My stay at the Doubletree was wonderful. The room was clean, hotel staff was friendly (especially bartenders!) and accomodating. The location was within a 15 minute walk from Dupont Cirlce (lots of entertainment there) and all the great sites. The only problem was the parking situation. Not being from a city, I didn't assume I would have to pay for parking ($33/night) which is rather expensive for me.

The hotel was nice and in a good location for all the walking we did. We had a Jr. Suite so the kids didn't have to share a bed. Unfortunately, the pull out sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The staff was helpful although when we needed more bedding for the pull out, there was no answer to our calls on the "comfort line". We used the fitness center everyday and found it had everything we needed for a good workout. It was a nice place to stay, clean, safe, good location, but we were not overly impressed.

Great location within walking distance of all main attractions and the Metro system. Very clean hotel room and convenience of restaurant, bar and complimentary gym within complex was great. Check in service at the hotel was great but on departure it was a little lack lustre and it felt like the staff were confused with who was doing what. Overall we would recommend the Doubletree and would most likely stay there again.
