Joanne at check-in was fantastic as was every other employee. When I couldn't find the meeting room, I was taken there, not sent there. People make a hotel and this team was the best.

I thought the hotel was very nice and had plenty to offer. My only problem is that the hotel made no effort to keep the smoking rooms smell not so smoky. But I know that no one will actually give a hoot. I stayed at a cheaper hotel in VA where the smoky rooms weren't so overwhelmingly stinky. I guess I should quit smoking but still. As a smoker, I still felt like I was laying in an ashtray. Love the location. Very close to everything that I needed. At least the area. I gotta admit though, driving into the parking made me think, 'oh boy, this looks so ghetto.' Just my opinion. Specially since just down a block or so, nicer looking hotels were within a walking distance. Kinda sad because the Doubletree in Richmond, VA.....AMAZING. Doubletree Rochester, NY.....I thought, 'I should've stayed at the Holiday Inn down the road.'
