Doubletree Hotel New Orleans Guest Reviews
We stayed for one night only to catch a cruise the following day. The hotel staff was great and the check-in process was quick and easy. The room was large, clean and spacious since we had a party of three adults and two small children. We wanted to visit Bourbon street and the hotels location was only a couple of blocks away. We had a great time.

I expected more from a Hilton family hotel. Where was the free wifi. Missing. We could have stayed elsewhere and got a continental breakfast for free. Paid $7.95. Only good thing, location. Walking distance to most everything in Downtown New Orleans.

Nice Hotel with Great location. Upgrade to the comfort bedding for $20 was worth it.

from the outside thre hotel looked great. when we arrived and was given our room my so called "riverview" was of a pool. i called downstairs and they moved us to floors up and said thst was a riverview. the room was big however old and musty. we asked if they had any other rooms available and was told you get what you paid for. I was appaled. we try to find another hotel in area to stay at but most hotels had no rooms available. i would never stay at a Doubltree Hotel again. my experience there was a night mare.

Honestly, first impressions are lasting, and my first impression was not good at all. When we arrived to the hotel, we were told that we would have to find somewhere else to park because they were full. (I reserved my room for in advance for three nights, and I was told to find somewhere else in the city to park and WALK back.) That is unacceptable, and it only got worse when I saw everyone behind me get parking. As we waited for our room (yes, we had to wait for our room to get ready too) we saw countless cars get serviced by valet parking. I was told that I wasn't a Silver Member and that was the reason. I will never return there, nor will any of my family and friends, and we visit New Orleans several times a year (mainly during football season).
