Doubletree Hotel Los Angeles International Airport Guest Reviews
Nice hotel, about 10 minutes drive from the airport. Great staff, good service and clean atmosphere. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport (call the hotel for airport pick up schedule - usually every 1/2 on the hour). All the main beaches are approximately 15 to 20 minutes away. If you are planning on going out to shop, have dinner or for entertainment, it may be best to hire a driver; LA traffic is for real, not fun if you are sitting behind the wheel. I used LA VIP Limousine Inc. - (Lincoln Town Car) fees and gratuity included ran about $70.00 per hour (3 hours minimum); the car is yours for however long you wish, the ease and comfort of stopping where ever to take pictures, walk around, enjoy the sights, etc without worrying about parking was amazing and the best part was when I had enough and was ready to head back to the Hotel, my driver was only a phone call away! I had a fun filled time in Los Angeles

Reason for travel was to go to a concert in downtown LA... looked around for hotels but they were either too expensive for a decent one or they were so cheap I knew it wasn't safe enough. Decided to go with this one since it was only a 15-20 minute drive to the Staples Center and the area was mostly business,(no teen/gangster parties)Service was great and quick, got my complimentary cookies (which were delicious)and the room was big enough to accommodate all 4 of us. Pool was perfect. Hot tub was perfect. Venice Beach and Santa Monica were also a short drive away. Big plus! Would definitely stay there again!
