Very conveniently located near freeways. Desk staff friendly and helpful--and you can't beat a warm cookie at check-in ;-) Room was clean and functional; however, neither of the two "old style" HVAC units worked--so it ended up being very stuffy. There were multiple signs indicating that guests were not going to be able to access the bistro due to special events. We did try to patronize the bistro for breakfast but were turned away because the buffet would be closing within 10 minutes. When we asked about nearby alternatives, the staff were unable to suggest any. Overall, this is a good hotel for the value. The issues were probably specific to our stay, but it's worth noting them here (for the sake of "full disclosure").

When we got to the hotel we were informed at the parking lot that we had to pay $11.00 a day for parking. We went into hotel and asked about that and was told that the parking cost was already covered by the amount that we had paid to orbitz. Our last morning we received the invoice for $132.00 for parking. Last time for that hotel. I would not have minded paying for the parking if i was told about it when I was purchasing the travel package, but I was not. I did not know about the additional charge until I got to the Hotel and then it was too late to change to another because we had already paid. Not very nice to treat people like that. You need to inform people that there is a parking cost in addition.

it was an ok stay. They charge $11 per car per night extra for self parking. Also they put a $50 dollar hold per night on your card and being a young person with not much savings or a big credit limit ever available dollar counts and it took 3 days to stop pending. Didn't appreciate that. The beds were comfy and the room was good. Nothing too crazy night though. I have had better rooms for cheaper price.
