Doubletree By Hilton Oslo City Centre Hotel Guest Reviews
The hotel is in a great location. The trams and bus stops are within a block and the subway was two blocks away across from the National Theater. The Aker Brygge and Akershus Fortress are just a few blocks away as well. There is a beautiful park just across the street from the main entrance. It was a great place to sit and people watch in the evening. The National Museum containing Munch's "The Scream" is also just a few blocks away. Even the main tourist information center is on the same block. I can't say anything negative about the hotel. The staff was very attentive and even let me keep my bags in the room until I was scheduled to leave around five that evening. I did not eat in the onsite restaurant though. There were so many to choose from on Stortingsgate.

Excellent place, very comfortable, the only issue was the bell tower chimes that went off every hour. This could keep a light sleeper up.
