Last minute booking to have a look around Cambridge before starting a new job. Got a great price via hotel club. Room was fine, clean & comfortable but didn't have a view over the river. We discovered after returning to get ready for the evening we had no hot water, phoned reception & were in a new room ten minutes later, it even had a river view. Breakfast was plentiful if a bit bland but I would book this hotel again if I could get it for the £70 I paid. Car parking is expensive for @ £17.50 for guests but it does run until midnight on the day of departure & you can come & go as often as you want, which is handy if you want to explore Cambridgeshire by car.
