Doubletree By Hilton Alana Waikiki Hotel Guest Reviews
The staff was courtious and contientious. The services that they provided were not forthcoming but if you ask, you will be surprised what they will do for you including booking boarding passes for your flights. There was no concierge service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We felt we had one of our better meals there. If you don't hit the pool in the morning or early afternoon forget it because it is out of the sun very early. The hotel catered to a number of airline staff, which we thought was a sign of repeat customers. The hotel also catered to a number of school groups that congregated in the main lobby blocking access by the other patrons. That was also a result of the lobby being very small. The vehicle valet service was very quick. Rooms were cleaned every day and the maid service was excellent. The hotel is within walking distance to a large number of restaurants and shops. Try breakfast at Cheeseburger Land on the corner just up from the hotel.
