Location
It is close to Piccadilly railway station, the town hall and cathedral. Manchester United's Football Stadium is within easy reach, along with the Granada TV Studios which offer guided tours.

The rooms at City Inn have a modern design with a neutral beige decor. They are comfortably furnished with floor-to-ceiling windows, air conditioning and satellite TV.
Restaurant
Head Chef Phil Green creates modern European cuisine served al fresco on the cafe terrace hotel's plush licensed restaurant.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Manchester - Piccadilly Guest Reviews
This is a great hotel for exploring Manchester. It is located right beside Picadilly station and only minutes away from the shops. The rooms were big and bright, the only let down was that the bed was uncomfortable and I didn't get much sleep. My partner and I probably had the best hotel breakfast we have ever had at the hotel - the range of foods on offer was vast and the quality of food and cooking was second to none.

super - I would come back. The breakfast room was a little overcrowded - had to queue up. And no capuchino was served on demand - "machine broken..." - what ever.

Excellently located hotel - 30 seconds' walk from PIccadilly ststaion and I was in the door, and checking in. The room was well serviced, although the walls needed a lick of paint. The iMac media centre was useful and easy to use. The wifi signal was slightly weak, and so my laptop struggled with some web surfing, but got there in the end. Pretty good, averagely priced food, and the staff were helpful in securely storing my luggage throughout the day of my checkout - but the location is the main raw for this hotel.

Hotel had recently changed its name without letting us know, therefore we walked past a couple of time looking for it (booked as City Inn). Would have been nice to have received an email before our stay to confirm the new name. Other than that, hotel was lovely and very good location, only a few minutes from the train station and within walking distance to the centre of Manchester. Would stay there again (now we know what it is called!)

hotel very nice modern. rooms very nice i liked the apple computer centre. breakfast good but rather to expensive. dinner pricey. bar very stylish. but again expensive. overall my stay comfortable. but watch those priceys.
