DoubleTree Suites By Hilton Hotel Atlanta - Galleria Guest Reviews
We had a great stay for the 2 nights we were there, but we were disturbed by the actions of one of the hotel front desk people. We were sleeping when we heard a loud thumping noise next to our room. We put our ears to the wall and heard a man yelling and screaming obscenities at a woman and she herself was crying. It sounded very violent. My wife and I went to the front desk and asked them for security, but the front desk lady said she would call them. She did call the room and once she got off of the phone, she looked at us and told us the guy told her they were only playing a drinking game. I told her there was no way and that someone needed to come up there and intervene, even the police. She said she would send up the engineer to walk the halls and listen for any trouble. We did get back up to the room and the yelling did stop, but we were very disturbed that the lady did not call the police or at least knock on the door to see if the other woman was ok.

This was a nice hotel and we got a great deal on the room. The location is good but difficult to access if you're not coming from the right direction (because of the median in the street). The room was large and very clean, and of course the free cookies were a hit with the whole family. The only negative is that the shower water was extremely hot!!! Be careful.
