Nice stay and close to so many subway lines. Staff is helpful (with bags and such) and always available; and best of all is the room is so clean and properly decorated. Plus point: doubletree offers a warm free welcome cookie at check-in! The business center in the lobby has great free internet, should you choose not to get this in the room.

Everything about the hotel worked. Parking is directly across the one-way, one lane street. It was easy: drive in, get a ticket, and the lot attendant parks the car. The hotel doorman greeted us and explained that check-in is on the 2nd floor and directed to us to the elevator. Check-in was quick with no lines. The room was quiet and comfortable.

My stay here was extremely enjoyable. The room was very clean and exactly what I needed for my trip. The staff was more than helpful. The room was extremely quiet. We didn't hear anyone else the whole time and we were very close to the elevators. Next time I need to book a room in New York I will definitely be back. Definitely worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone. The room wasn't huge, but honestly its rare to find that anywhere in the city.

First, to get a hotel room with a king size bed in the city for around $250/night is a steal, and this is a beautiful hotel. Room is small but it was lovely, bathroom was beautiful, room service was excellent. I was especially thrilled to get a smoking room that did not smell like an ashtray. I know that sounds stupid, afterall, I"m the idiot who smokes, but most hotels that still have smoking rooms have given up on trying to keep those rooms nice. Not this place. They have a whole floor of smoking rooms, and when you get out of the elevator you don't feel like you're in a dingy stale ashtray of a casino. I was traveling on business, and at the end of the day wanted room service, cable, and to smoke a cigarette indoors. It was such a relief to find this hotel and this room.
