I was amazed that for something as 30 euro this hotel was to be booked (november 2011). Ex-monastery with so nice details (floors, tiles), nice view to the whole 5th century or something complex and the San Giovanni.

This is a brilliant hotel for the price, with the added bonus that it is in an amazing landmark building. The rooms are very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and very tasty indeed. The location is excellent being only a few minutes walk from the metro and there is a bus stop right outside. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic hotel. The rooms are spotless and tastefully decorated and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The location for us was fine, being right next to a bus stop and within a 15 minute walk of the metro station. Various interesting sites very close by, and the church forming part of the hotel complex itself was amazing. Unlike some other reviewers, I found the breakfast selection to be perfectly adequate and plentiful. My only gripe was the air conditioning, which in our room (a quaint attic room with wood beams but a heat absorbing tiled roof above) was hopeless, and the fan provided just shifted the hot air about. The TV was also very small making it hard to see from the bed but we didn't go on holiday to watch TV so it was not an issue. Mini bar prices were quite reasonable for a hotel too. Would defintely use this hotel again.

good clean hotel, desk staff very helpful and informative, would recommend for couples. close to bus and metro for central Rome and plenty of places to eat close by.

slightly out of the way, maybe 20min walk from the train station. Hard to notice from the roads due to being inside a church, Very clean and tidy, friendly service, good value, would stay again.
