Dom Pedro Baia Club Hotel Madeira Guest Reviews
We stayed at the Dom Pedro for 1 night due to its close proximity to the airport. This is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. We personally found the Dom Pedro a very depressing place. We had a room on the 7th floor with reasonably nice view over the sea. Large cracks both inside and outside of room - hopefully only superficial! No balcony, but did have a window that opened fully - not child friendly by any means as sheer drop outside. Absolutely no sound insulation between rooms. There was some aircraft noise but not really troublesome. No tea or coffee-making facilities or hairdryer in room -we believe you have to upgrade to be supplied with these. Breakfast was adequate but there was a distinct lack of any smiling staff. Facilities outside of the hotel very poor - did not appear to be any gardens but did have an outdoor swimming pool with lots of sun loungers postioned very closely together. Would most definitely not consider staying at this hotel again.

The hotel was a little better than what we excpected and we got perhaps the best room they had. We are satisfied.
