I've been staying in Dom Carlos Liberty hotel for the second time and I do not regret it! The staff is very friendly, speaks excellent English and some French (this is frequent in Portugal). The room (double) was properly sized, the beds excellent (not too soft). Although the neighbourhood can be quite noisy (traffic) you do not hear anything in the rooms (excellent acoustic insulation). A very good hotel.

Very very small rooms; breakfast very standard. Too expensive for the quality the hotel offers.
