Dolphin Inn Carmel Guest Reviews
We were very pleased to find a large room, comfortable bed, heated pool, gas fireplace and walking distance to the beach and downtown restuarants. Best was continental bkfst delivered to your door with the paper every morning. Super idea. Room was not new, but was well maintained.

We have been to Carmel more than a dozen times in the last decade and were even married there. We try to get back to celebrate our marriage when we are able and so these visits are always special to us. Each time we try a new place to stay and on this trip the Dolphin Inn captured our attention for location and price. Upon arrival the gentleman at the reception was cold and generally unfriendly. Our room was on the first floor and although it was large by Carmel standards it was dated with furniture actually missing parts.This room was about 25 years past an update and was not charming in a vintage sort of way! UGLY late 70's decor. We had read some reviews complaining about the noise and they proved to be true. The breakfast cooler left at the door each morning was adaquate but definately did not compare with others we have enjoyed at other inns. Our advice: spend a little extra dough on better accomodations.

Great location to downtown,clean, and fireplace was nice. Breakfast delivered to room was nice, would stay again.
