Dolomiti Hotel Venice2 Stars
Cannaregio 73-74 Calle Priuli Ai Cavalletti Venice 30121
Just a short trip by water taxi to the pier at the Rialto Bridge, guests at the Dolomiti can travel along the famous Grand Canal with its gondola's, and pass places of interest such as the Ca d'Oro.
Most of the thirty two clean and comfortable rooms at the Dolomiti feature private bathroom and air conditioning. All rooms are equipped with a telephone.
The hotel does not have its own restaurant but there is a comfortable breakfast room on the ground floor which serves a range of pastries and other continental items.
The Dolomiti Hotel is a convenient and comfortable base for guests in search of a value for money base near to the centre of Venice. The hotel is well placed for the sights, museums and galleries, as well as the smaller islands of Murano and Burano. The hotel staff and owners are always happy to help guests with restaurant recommendations and tourist information.

The hotel is ideally placed on the main island of Venice, only a few meters from the train station. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. The room was adequate and what is to be expected from a 2-star hotel. The major drawback was lack of air-conditioning in the room, which was definitely needed in the high summer Venice heat.

The hotel is amazing - clean rooms, good amenities. However just a fair warning - there are no lifts in the hotel - so its tough if you have luggage to log all the way up the 3rd floor or 4th floor. but it seems to be worthwhile. Hotel Staff left a little to be desired. I came from a long journey around Europe and forgot to print out the voucher needed to be signed and he mocked me. I felt horrible after my first encounter with the staff - but the rest seemed to be going more smoothly than the first encounter. So, just watch out for those times.

The hotel is really nice and located near the train and bus stations, so when you come from the airport, it is very easy and fast to find it. What is more, I really liked the service of this hotel, all workers are very nice, speak in english and try to do the best for their customers. On the other side, I have one minuse - food for breakfast was all the time the same, but of course if you want to eat different food, this hotel is near many other restaurants and bars. In general - this hotel ir really very good for people, who do not want to spend a lot of money.

This hotel is one of the best deals in Venice. If you are planning on site seeing and only using the hotel to sleep, this is the place to book.

Excellent hotel for the price I paid. The front desk staff bent over backwards to help us. Location is good especially if you are coming in by train - no stairs between train station and hotel! Public (water) transport is nearby from which all parts of venice can be reached. Highly recommend this hotel.
