Not so special. SPA package is way over priced for the service given. Much better SPA's in comparision to this Hotel's services!

Old, creepy, rude employees, do not stay here! The Spa is also not worth the value of the fee ($$$)!!! I will never go back............................

I have to say that the Dolce Hayes Mansion was the veritable "find" on our trip to CA this year. By far the classiest hotel in the area, rivaling anything I've seen on the West Coast for accommodations and was incredibly, reasonably priced. The hotel itself is a maze of wonders, and each room is artfully appointed. The hosts were gracious and helpful. Though it was in the suburbs of San Jose, it was a great stopping off juncture, not too far away from anything, and worth a venturing to.

I'd booked 4 rooms on-line through 2 different websites. The hotel only shown 2 rooms. It was a good thing I had the print out of the confimation with me so the clerk made a copy of my confirmation and gave me the rooms. Overall, the ground was beautiful. The room was nice and clean. I loved it.

The place looks like a country club. Well worth the online rate. I have no negative input but all positive. Will recommend to others and will try to stay again when in San Jose.

I was impressed by the staff and the friendliness of the staff as well. My only complaint was that I had 2 bottles of water in the room and their was nothing indicating that I would be charged for them. A couple days after returning home I noticed 8.74 charge on my credit card. I called and it was for the water! I was upset that they did not make it clear they were not complimentary. Other than this I would return again and again, but next time I will stay longer, and bring my own water.

The hotel is excellent: beautiful gardens, magnificent buildings, good rooms and comfortable beds. The only drawback I have encountered is the very slow check-in line.

It was a lovely hotel and the staff were all very helpful. But we had a very bad experience at the President's Lounge. Food was not available one night when it was supposed to be and then on Sunday night we had to wait a long time for everything, and the attitude of the waiter was poor, especially when we asked to pay. So overall the service was between very bad and very good.

The bed is very comfy and the ammenties are great. The room is a bit small but not a huge problem. The bathroom size is a good size for the room, but the design needs to be upgraded, such as the shower area. Overall, I would come back to stay.

Even though the guest rooms are on the small side, the facilities are very clean and comfortable. The atmoshere is more in line with a bed and breakfast with all the amenities of a hotel - very nicely maintained as well. The only negative was that the room service menu was highly priced, but that would not prevent me from staying here again. The room offers a nice sized fridge, so bring along snacks and drinks. And don't forget to plan time to take advantage of the many spa treatments they offer as well - massages, facials and relaxation therapy. Even though treatments are extra, guests of the hotel are allowed access to the locker rooms, pools, jacuzzis, and work-out facilities. I highly recommend this hotel.
