A good basic pitstop. Had trouble locking the door. There's a knack to it. It's right opposite the railway station so very handy for rail travellers.

The hotel is located in a great spot opposite the Leeds Train Station, literally 2 minutes walk from the tracks. It is also a short walk to the most of the bus stops, so for travelling around the area it is ideal. The layout is a bit strange - reception on 3rd floor, my room was down 4 corridors, up a 2nd lift and then down a 5th corridor. There was a lot of street noise over the weekend at night. The room was spacious and kept very clean. Staff were firendly and efficient. The only internet access is a terminal near reception - 1 pound for 20 minutes - no wireless.

A basic hotel - but clean rooms and bedding. The hotel is run down but it is a good place to stay if you are on a budget and want to be central to Leeds. We had a good nights sleep, good breakfast.

Some rooms are definitely better than others. We were put in a smoking room to begin with which smelt badly (and not just of cigarettes!). The shower faced into it with no door and it looked grubby. But we asked to be moved and the non-smoking room was bigger, better furnished and much more pleasant. Excellent location

The hotel was not very impressive, the bathroom needed updating as there was black mold arround the bath sealant and no curtains up at the window, it was not frosted glass window either! My friend in the next room went to switch on the wall light and the whole light unit fell off the wall and was hanging on by the wires. The raw plugs were not big enough for the holes in the wall. The breakfast was a lot to be desired also. I will not stay there again and do not think it should be a 3 star rated hotel. However, the location of the hotel for the train station and city was very good.

Hotel is right across from Leeds Train Station and near the city centre shops. Hotel is comfortable and clean. Perhaps the rooms needs redecorating but the staff were polite and easy to speak to. Not much facilties in the hotel but plenty nearby. I will definatley use this hotle again.

Very friendly staff. Reaching the hotel by car through the one-way system in the very middle of Leeds was very difficult, but I got good directions in real-time by phone. The topography of the hotel (reception on 3rd floor and inumerable staircases) must be unique and adds to its charm.

I was very disapointed that the bathroom was very dirty there was black mould around the shower, i was not impressed by the lack of seating in the room as i had no where to sit and get ready at the dressing table. Breakfast was terrible corned beef and cheese who has them for breakfast it was a joke surely. i would not reccomend staying there again.

Excellent location right in the middle of Leeds. Maze of a place though had to take 2 different lifts to get to our room on the tenth floor. Continental breakfast on the Saturday was laughable corned beef and cheese, bit of cereal and some bread for toasting. All in all not too bad if you are going for a p*ss up.

Room was clean and neat, however stairs up to reception on 3rd floor (lift was under renovation) smelt horribly of mould and damp and had dirt/mould marks on the carpet. Quite offputting first impression unfortunately. Only stayed for one night so not much interaction with staff but on checkin/out they were very friendly and helpful.
