Very efficient check in. Hotel well located in town centre. Rooms older style but comfortable. Excellent amenities. Would recommend.

Quite a good hotel but the room is a bit too dim.

The Diplomat is very well located, within walking distance of restaurants/shopping. If one has no car, this is the place to be. We used the laundry facilities which were excellent. I would definitely recommend this facility - good value.

Just what we expected - a basic, quite acceptable hotel in a convenient location in Alice Springs.

It''s difficult for the out-of-area traveller to find the hotel; signage is hidden from the street and we circled once before realizing where you were. We were also not entirely comfortable with the rather open design of the hotel-- while its inside corridors imply the feel of a perfectly safe hotel, the reality of open stairwells and outer doors means it is the same as a less safe (but still not dangerous) motel with doors facing the outside world.
