Diocleziano Hotel Rome Guest Reviews
It was a perfect stay. The location is the best, as well as the staff. I would come to stay again.

Diocleziano... I can definitely recommend this hotel to anybody who can afford the price. This place is definitely worth the price you pay for the stay. First of all, the location is superb. It is located about 7-10 minutes by walk from Roma Termini (the train station of Rome) and another major Metro station which you could take to reach important sites of interest such as the Colosseum and the Vatican. I have experienced that when a hotel is located in such close proximity to a train station on a main street, there is often a lot of noise and your night's sleep could be compromised for the convenience of the location. However, this hotel is located in a secluded side street which offers enough quietness at night despite being so close to a major street. Safety is not at all an issue. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They provide information and help with transfer to the airport. I arrived from Florence by train and I could easily walk to the hotel from the train station with my travel bags as they had wheels. Rome was my last destination and I flew back from Rome. To transfer to the airport, I used the affordable taxi arranged by the hotel staff. If you don't have big bags to carry along, you could also take the air-train connection from Roma Termini station. The hotel provides complimentary internet, spa and gym although I never had the opportunity to use these facilities as I was busy enjoying Rome itself. The room was very cosy with a comfortable bath/toilet. The only shortcoming that I noticed was that hot water was not hot enough after 11 pm. I wanted to use the bath-tub before I went to sleep, but noticed that the water was just warm enough to wash hands or brush. Another huge plus is the breakfast that they provide. I had stayed in 2 other hotels (Venice and Florence) prior to my visit to Rome. The other hotels provided good breakfast too, but comparatively this was the best. This is very important because the major purpose of my visit was touring and sight-seeing. Having a good breakfast gave me enough time till late in the afternoon to concentrate the bulk of my sight-seeing in the daytime when attractions are open (many sights close 1-2 hours earlier in the winter months). I did not have to spend time looking for a place to have full course of meal. All I needed to do was to grab a quick bite on the go if I needed one during the day, and have a good dinner earlier in the evening. For a single person, this hotel could be on the pricier side, but if you travel as a family or couple, I can seriously recommend this hotel as you would be saving on time spent looking for a cab or public transport as well the money spent on them. If I visit Rome again, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The staff was great, friendly and accomodating. The location was perfect, near the Termini. The room was very updated, modern and clean, although the bed was hard (thinkiing typical for Italy). Overall a great experience -highly recommend!

We had a brilliant time at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was a great size and very well appointed, loved the free mini-bar and free wireless. Location was ideal for exploring the city.

The hotel is an excellent base for exploring Rome. Close to the Tremini station, it is very handy to metro and intercity train services as well as buses. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient in dealing with enquiries and requests.
