They upgraded my room to an ocean view. The view was great. The stairs down to the beach were only 50 feet away. I could hear the ocean as I slept at night. Overall a great time.

A pleasant surprise! Steps from the oceanfront, plenty of room, kitchenette, and easy checkin-out service! Highly recommended!

Diamond Head Inn is in the perfect location for visiting Pacific Beach. We have stayed here a couple of times now, and are looking forward to staying again. I think we paid $79/night, and our room was extremely close to the beach and came with a kitchen and separate bedroom/bathroom. There are a lot of cool restaurants and bars very close and garnet is just 3 blocks down. A very short walk. Awesome price, awesome location. Very good for the price. A+++
